Chemicals Solutions, Utilities Management
Utilities Monitoring Site Assessment The first step in EnteGreat’s Utilities Management Program is to identify baseline requirements. We works with our clients to specify the key utilities used in their production processes. These utilities may include purchased services, such as electric, water, natural gas and fuel oil, and/or generated services, such as compressed air and steam. Once the key utilities consumables are identified and quantified, EnteGreat performs a survey for each production facility. This assessment activity can usually be accomplished in less than a week for each production site, and often, in just a couple of days.
During the Utilities Management Site Assessment, EnteGreat focuses on the significant consumers of the targeted utilities and, working with local specialists, understand opportunities for improved operational performance.
The EnteGreat Utilities Monitoring team will:
- Identify each major equipment resource that uses the targeted utilities
- Assess the capability for that resource to capture and record its utility consumption
- Understand how utilities usage is reported for that resource, and who is accountable for the efficient operation of that resource
- Quantify value propositions and utilities savings potential for that resource
Following the Site Assessment, EnteGreat creates a report card for each facility and grades that site’s capability to effectively manage and control the targeted utilities and costs, within the current infrastructure. The report card, along with the site’s value propositions, is then used to present investment strategies and gage the potential for investment returns.
