Presentation Overview:
While many poultry companies have taken great strides in improving their overall supply chain performance, they continue to be challenged by meat block and mix optimization. Manufacturers in this industry are finding that while it's possible to plan a variety of marketing and sales programs and promotions, it is significantly more difficult to analyze the overall effectiveness of processing and production decisions against those programs.
Poultry companies are now working to improve this by defining solutions that will enable them to optimize profitability by capturing and analyzing costs, yields, and sales by individual SKU item. In order to achieve this strategic objective at the SKU level, our clients are making a variety of operations and business changes and are supporting those changes with some key technology components.

About the Presenters
Don Wisdom has over 20 years of experience in poultry operations. Prior to joining EnteGreat, Don was with Pilgrims Pride, where he was ERP Director. Prior to Pilgrims Pride's acquisition of Gold Kist, Don spent over 20 years in various senior operations positions, ranging from plant manager to division manager, which made him responsible for every aspect of the poultry operations.
John Clemons has over 24 years of experience in Food, Beverage and CPG manufacturing. John is also a co-author of the book "Information Technology for Manufacturing: Reducing Costs and Expanding Capabilities".
